Terms and Conditions for Voice 21 Events

1. You are able to book places at Voice 21 events via our website, e-mail or by telephone. Submission of a booking constitutes an offer to purchase the event services.

2. When you submit a booking, we will send an email confirming receipt of your booking request. This e-mail is for information only and does not constitute our acceptance of your booking. We will be deemed to have accepted your booking when we issue our invoice for the services, at which point a binding contract shall be formed between us. If your booking cannot be accepted for any reason, we will notify you.

3. Invoices are payable within 30 days and, in any event, prior to the event date. If you fail to make payment in full within 14 days of receiving a payment reminder, we may cancel your booking. If payment has not been received prior to the event, the attendee(s) must sign an attendance slip on arrival. Non-attendance at an event (for whatever reason) does not negate your liability to pay our invoice.

4. Substitutions are welcome at any time. There will be no additional charge for delegate name Changes.

5. If you decide to cancel your booking (or any part thereof), you may do so prior to the date of the event by email, subject to the following:

6. Written cancellations made no less than 4 weeks before the event date will be subject to a full refund if paid, or the cancellation of the invoice if unpaid.

7. Written cancellations made less than 4 weeks, but no less than 2 weeks, before the event date will remain liable for 50% of the invoice amount. If the invoice has been paid, a 50% refund shall be issued. If payment has not been made, you must pay 50% of the total amount within 7 days of cancellation.

8. Written cancellations made less than 2 weeks before the event date of the will not be entitled to any refund. If the invoice remains outstanding on cancellation, it must be paid in full within 7 days.

9. Voice 21 reserves the right to alter the event programme without prior notice due to unforeseen circumstances.

10. We also reserve the right in our absolute discretion and without further liability to cancel any event or event, in which case any booking charges paid by you will be refunded.

However, in such circumstances Voice 21 cannot be held responsible for hotel or travel expenses which you are unable to recoup as a result of an event being cancelled.

1. An individual ticket is redeemable for one participant (one email account). If you are wishing to book multiple individuals, you must book a ticket per individual (per email account).

Any data you send is at your own risk. We have procedures and security features in place to keep your data secure once we receive it.

We will keep your information only for as long as we need it to provide you with the goods, services or information you have required, to administer your relationship with us, to inform our research into oracy or the preferences of our supporters, to comply with the law, or to ensure we do not communicate with people that have asked us not to.

When we no longer need information We will always dispose of it securely, using specialist companies if necessary to do this work for us.

We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy. Each time you visit this site you should check this Privacy Policy to check that no changes have been made to any sections that are important to you. Where appropriate, any changes will be notified to you by email.

Users contacting the Voice 21 website do so at their own discretion and provide their personal details at their own risk.

Email Newsletter

Voice 21 circulates newsletters termly.

In signing up to the website, you are automatically signing up to receive the newsletter, to opt out please unsubscribe here.

Email marketing campaigns published by Voice 21 may contain tracking facilities within the actual email. Subscriber activity may be tracked and stored in a database for future analysis and evaluation

This information is used to refine future email campaigns and supply the user with more relevant content based around their content.

Communication, engagement, and actions taken through external social media platforms that this website and Voice 21 on are custom to the terms and conditions as well as the privacy policies held with each social media platform respectively.

This website may use social sharing buttons which help share web content directly from web pages to the social media platform in question.
