The Event:

I hereby accept that in the event that any services become unavailable for any reason, UPRISE Festival/Nephronim, it’s appointed agents and other sub-contractors will make every effort to solve the problem or to supply alternatives of equal standard and value but no responsibility can be accepted for failure to provide the specific services.

I hereby accept that in no event will UPRISE Festival/Nephronim be liable for any losses or damages (foreseeable or unforeseeable) including loss or damage to brought-in materials and products, loss of profits, loss of goodwill or damage to reputation, loss or corruption of data or any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive or consequential damages, whether under tort, contract or other theories of recovery, as a result of the use of this website or as a result of participation in the event.

I hereby accept that the providers Tito, Paypal and Stripe handle the payment processing for tickets, and it’s terms and conditions are applicable for all ticket sales. UPRISE Festival/Nephronim are not liable or responsible for any business activities or unforeseen events of Tito, Paypal and Stripe, including moratorium, bankruptcy, or any other situation where Tito, Paypal and Stripe does not transfer the ticket sales to the event organizers.

I hereby accept that participating in UPRISE Festival Europe I consent to the use of your image or likeness incidental to any live or recorded video display or other transmission or reproduction of the event. Furthermore, I agree, that I will not transmit or aid in transmitting any recording, description, account, picture, or reproduction of talks/workshops where the speaker explicitly asks me not to.

By participating in UPRISE Festival Europe I agree to adhere to any additional house rules or regulations that apply. Violation of house rules or regulations can result in removal from the event and revocation of the ticket without the refund of any portion of the ticket price.

Ticket and Registration purchase

I hereby give my consent for UPRISE Festival/Nephronim to use for the purposes of processing complimentary or otherwise ticket registration the mandatory data and any voluntary data I provide when registering a complimentary admission ticket. I also give my consent to the voluntary data provided. I acknowledge and accept that my data will be used for commercial purposes in accordance with this Data Protection Policy and Declaration of Consent and will be retained and stored for this purpose.

I hereby accept that I cannot resell tickets under any circumstances. UPRISE Festival/Nephronim, reserves the right to cancel any tickets that have been resold and to deny any such Ticket Holder entry.

I hereby accept that UPRISE Festival B.V reserves the right to cancel any ticket purchase made by any person or body whom we reasonably believe to be associated with any ticket broker or tout. UPRISE Festival B.V. reserves the right to refuse admission to any event or conference for any behaviour, which it deems unacceptable, or for breach of the terms and conditions.

I hereby accept that tickets are purchased for my own personal use or that of my business only and may not be re-sold or transferred for commercial gain under any circumstances, including but not limited to use as part of any promotion or competition. Where there has been any re-sale or attempted re-sale of any tickets (or any other breach of this term), I understand that UPRISE Festival B.V has the right to cancel the relevant tickets with immediate effect.

Ticket refunds

I hereby accept that ticket refunds are not possible following the mandatory 14 days cooling-off period. Tickets with a special discount or any offer are not eligible for a refund.

UPRISE Festival B.V. does not issue VISA’s for attendance of the Event. In the event that an attendee’s visa is not granted, tickets will not be refunded for any event or conference.

If you have been selected to volunteer at the event but have already bought a ticket, you are not eligible for a refund.

Students Tickets

Students who have registered online for free tickets can only enter the Event if they provide a current student Identification at registration. Otherwise, no entry will be allowed. The same applies to students who are entitled to buy their tickets at the reduced price. In the case of no legitimate student identification being produced no refund will be issued.

UPRISE Festival/Nephronim. reserves the right without refund or compensation to refuse admission/evict any persons whose conduct is disorderly or inappropriate or who poses a threat to security, or to the enjoyment of the Event by others.

Photography, audio or video recording is allowed during the Event with the prior permission of UPRISE Festival/Nephronim unless otherwise stated by the Organizer of the Event. UPRISE Festival B.V retains the right to have use of any media created during the festival by any party participating.

UPRISE Festival/Nephronim may postpone, cancel, interrupt, or stop the event due to adverse weather, dangerous situations, public health concerns or any other causes beyond his reasonable control.

Entry to the Event is not subject to any age restrictions unless otherwise stated by UPRISE Festival/Nephronim.

If I have provided my mobile telephone number I consent to UPRISE Festival / Nephronim or subsidiary companies to contact me by SMS in relation to events for which I am purchasing a ticket or registering an expression of interest.
