Event Terms & Conditions:
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before participating in or attending our event. Your registration and attendance indicate your acceptance and agreement to comply with these terms.
Registration: a. All participants must complete the registration process to secure their attendance at the event. b. The registration information provided must be accurate, complete, and up to date. c. Registration fees, if applicable, are non-refundable unless otherwise specified.
Event Attendance: a. Only registered participants with valid event badges or tickets will be granted access to the event venue. b. Badges or tickets must be worn or presented at all times during the event.
Code of Conduct: a. Participants are expected to behave respectfully and professionally towards fellow attendees, event staff, and speakers. b. Harassment, discrimination, or any form of inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in immediate expulsion from the event without refund.
Program Changes: a. The event organizers reserve the right to make changes to the event program, including but not limited to speakers, schedule, and sessions, without prior notice. b. In the event of cancellation or significant changes to the event, reasonable efforts will be made to notify registered participants and provide appropriate alternatives or refunds.
Photography and Recording: a. By participating in the event, attendees consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded for promotional purposes. b. The event organizers hold the rights to use and publish any such media captured during the event.
Liability: a. Participants are responsible for their personal belongings and any loss, damage, or theft that may occur during the event. b. The event organizers and venue owners are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained by participants or their property while attending the event.
Force Majeure: a. The event organizers shall not be held responsible for any delay, cancellation, or inability to perform any obligations due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or unforeseen emergencies.
Privacy: a. Any personal information collected during the registration process will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws and our privacy policy. b. By registering for the event, participants consent to the collection, use, and storage of their personal information for event-related purposes. c. We may forward the personal data of registered persons in connection with an event to third parties, such as, among others, hotels, sponsors, hosts, or organizers (including those accessed via the websites of third parties). Depending on the type of event, we may offer an Event App that will be used to facilitate your participation and networking at the event. In this case, your personal data may be used to create your account in the App, hosted by a third party but administered by UICC.
Governing Law: a. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland. b. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Switzerland.
