The data that is collected will be used by the SCA Event Manager to plan and manage the event for which you registered. You will also receive relevant details about the event via email.

Tickets

Tickets include:

  • attendance to Barista Camp 2018 | Evora, Portugal | 3-6 September
  • 3 nights of full-board accommodation at Evora Hotel
  • enrolment and certification in one (1) Intermediate or two (2) Foundation SCA Coffee Skills Program modules, depending on your ticket selection
  • access to all workshops, lectures and social activities at Barista Camp

Ticket do not include:

  • travel to/from Portugal
  • alcohol and other personal expenses

Member discount

In order to receive the membership discount, each attendee must supply a valid SCA membership number, and the discount will be granted in these cases:

  • €100 discount if the attendee has a personal membership (in his/her own name) in the Barista category (this number can only be used for 1 discounted ticket)
  • €100 discount if the attendee is registered as a Barista Guild member under a Company membership (this number can only be used for 1 discounted ticket)
  • €50 discount if the attendee is registered as an Individual Professional SCA member, is registered as a company representative, or are members in other categories (Technician or Roaster) – this number can only be used for 1 discounted ticket

Accommodation

  • Shared accommodation is in double, triple or quadruple rooms. Beds may be double or twins and will be assigned on a first come, first serve base.
  • We will endeavour to create same gender rooms unless you've given us a roommate preference.
  • We will do our best to accommodate your preferences.

Cancellation

In case you can no longer attend our event, we keep to the following cancellation policy:

  • A 100% refund of the received ticket fee until 2 months prior to the event start date.

  • A 75% refund of the received ticket fee until 1 month prior to the event start date.

  • After this date no refund is possible. No exceptions.

  • Transferring your ticket to another person is possible via the reassign feature on your ticket

Terms

  • BGE can not be held accountable for any damages or loss of personal belongings.

  • A photographer/video crew will be present at our seminars and events. By attending the event, you consent to photographs and video material to be taken and published.

If you’ve indicated an interest in taking part in one of our programmes, we’ll retain your data for a period of three years from the point that you last engage with us.

We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as you remain engaged with the relevant activity, or as long as is set out in any relevant contract you hold with SCA. To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your personal data, the purposes for which we process your personal data and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements.
