The data that is collected will be used by the Organizer to plan and manage the event for which you registered, as well as email you relevant details about the event.

Event Terms & Conditions

Summary

Changing Your Plans Transfers: Give your ticket to a colleague for free up to 48 hours before the event. Email conferences@rosenfeldmedia.com. Refunds: Full refund if you cancel 61+ days out; 50% if 31–60 days out; no refunds within 30 days. If the Event Changes If we move the event online or postpone it, you’ll get a credit to use within 36 months. Cash refunds only apply if we don't host another event in that time. Content & Conduct Respect the Work: Speakers and RM own the materials. Please don't record or share them without permission. Speaker Changes: If a speaker is sick, we’ll find a great sub. If a session is cancelled entirely, you’ll get a partial refund. Be Kind: You agree to our Code of Conduct and Privacy Policy to keep this space safe for everyone.

Full Terms & Conditions

The following attendee and/or sponsor terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your registration and participation in the Rosenfeld Media (RM) Event in which you are registering (the “Event”). By clicking the “I accept” or “Submit” button during the registration process, or by attending or participating in the Event in any capacity, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and represent that you have read and understand all the provisions herein.

TRANSFERS, REFUNDS, AND CANCELLATIONS

Registrations are transferable until 48 hours before the first day of the conference; email us ASAP to let us know who will be taking your place.

EVENT CANCELLATION, POSTPONEMENT OR MODIFICATION

Rosenfeld Media (“RM”) shall, at its sole discretion, be entitled to cancel, postpone, or modify the Conference, Workshop, Sponsor Session, Rosenverse Community Call or other offering (“Event”). RM will not be held responsible for any loss or damage arising from any change in the Event or from the cancellation of or any change to the date(s), venue(s), or format for the Event, for any reason whatsoever. In the Event RM changes, cancels or postpones the Event, RM shall give written notice of its decision as soon as reasonably practicable. Except as otherwise provided herein, the attendee and/or sponsor Fee is not refundable, and upon such notice, Attendee and/or Sponsor’s rights are limited to:
  1. In the case of RM’s cancellation of the Event, RM shall apply the fee toward attendance of another RM Event of Attendee’s or Sponsor’s choice that is scheduled within thirty-six months from the date of such cancellation. If RM does not schedule any other Event within said thirty-six month period, then the Attendee and/or Sponsor Fee shall be refunded to Attendee and/or Sponsor after the end of the thirty-six month period upon written request. Attendee and/or Sponsor must choose a replacement Conference and/or Workshop within thirty-six months, after which the fee credit will expire.
  2. In the case of the conversion to a Virtual/Remote Conference and/or Workshop, or in the case of the postponement of a Conference and/or Workshop, the Attendee shall have the choice to attend the Conference and/or Workshop or to credit the full Attendee and/or Sponsor Fee to a future Event to be chosen by Attendee within thirty-six months. If RM does not schedule any other Event within said thirty-six month period, then the Attendee and/or Sponsor Fee shall be refunded to Attendee and/or Sponsor after the end of the thirty-six month period upon written request. Attendee or Sponsor must choose a replacement Conference and/or Workshop within thirty-six months, after which the fee credit will expire.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

All intellectual property rights in and to the Event, the Event content, and all materials distributed at or in connection with the Event are owned by RM, our related companies, and/or the sponsors or speakers attending the Event. You must not reproduce or allow anyone to reproduce trademarks or materials distributed by or on behalf of us at an Event for any reason, without our prior written permission.

Nothing in these Terms shall vest in you any legal or beneficial right in or to any intellectual property rights owned or used under license by us or our related companies, or grant to you any right or license to any other intellectual property rights of us or our related companies. All such intellectual property rights shall remain the exclusive property of us and our related companies.

It is strictly forbidden for any company, organization, or person to attempt to host or organize any Event in conjunction with, contiguous to or purporting to be related to the Event or its affiliates without our express prior permission and cooperation.

SPEAKER OR WORKSHOP LEADER CANCELLATIONS

We do our best to deliver a relevant and meaningful Event experience. Should an advertised speaker or workshop leader be unable to attend due to illness or other factors beyond the control of RM, we reserve the right to make the best possible substitution that meets our standards. Should a last minute issue arise where RM cancels a program segment, our liability shall be limited to the refund on a prorata basis of the amount paid for that program segment.

FORCE MAJEURE

RM shall not be deemed to be in breach of this Agreement or otherwise liable to the Attendee and/or Sponsor for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under this Agreement as a result of any Event or series of connected events outside the reasonable control of RM including, without limitation, acts of God, floods, lightning, storm, fire, explosion, war, military operations acts or threats of terrorism, strike action, lock-outs or other industrial action, adverse action or bankruptcy of key vendor, any legislation, regulations, ruling or omission of any relevant government, court, competent national authority or governing body, or a pandemic, epidemic or other widespread illness or disease (a “Force Majeure”).

By accepting our Terms of Service, you are also agreeing to our Photography and Social Media Release.

Event Privacy Policy

Summary

The Rosenfeld Media privacy policy can be summarized as follows: Data Collection: They collect personal info (name, email, address) you provide during registration or purchases, plus technical data like IP addresses and cookies. Conference Sharing: If you register for an event (like Designing with AI), your name, title, and email may be shared with event sponsors. Usage: Data is used to fulfill orders, improve the website, and send newsletters/marketing (which you can opt out of). Third Parties: They do not sell your personal info to third parties, except for service providers or as required by law. User Rights: You can access, update, or request the deletion of your data at any time by emailing privacy@rosenfeldmedia.com.

Your acceptance of our privacy policy By using rosenfeldmedia.com, you agree to the collection and use by Rosenfeld Media, LLC of your personal information (“PI”) as described in this policy. If we make any significant changes to this policy, we will notify you by email, or by posting a notice of such changes on the site. This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that Rosenfeld Media LLC does not own or control and whose materials, content, goods, or services are accessed through the site.

What we collect about you that is personally identifiable We collect your personal information including your name, email address, password, and other information that you specifically provide to us to set up your account, or subscribe to our newsletters and announcements, which information can be revised and deleted by you. All passwords are stored on our server in encrypted form. We also collect information you provide us in response to our inquiries; for example, (1) your physical address for delivery of books you have requested from us, (2) opinions, ideas, suggestions, and information in response to online surveys, (3) other information you have elected to provide Rosenfeld Media LLC, and (4) your physical address and billing information for conferences and training services that you purchase from us. This is an “opt-in” policy with regards to consenting to our collection and use of PI. Additionally, if you register for one of our conferences, we may provide your name, title, email address, and company name to our conference sponsors.

Other data we collect which is not personally-identifiable We collect information regarding use of the site, such as login information, computer-related information (for example, browser type you used, your Internet Protocol address, last URL visited, and the date and time of day of your login). We send a “cookie” or “pixel tag” to your computer that contains an identification number that is unique to the computer you are using. You may decline to provide such information to us and/or refuse cookies in your browser, although some of our features or services may not function properly as a result.

How we use PI and other data We use the information we gather to enhance the experience of using our site, to understand how our site is used, to customize advertising, to communicate with our users about information relating to the site, to investigate and verify proper conduct at the site, and for the security, integrity, quality improvement, and monitoring of the site. We use data in the aggregate for our business purposes, but we do not disclose such aggregate data in a manner that allows identification of an individual user. We may also use the information we gather to communicate with you about events, products, and services we believe may be of interest to you. Your rights under General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Regardless of any legal requirements otherwise, we will do our best to extend substantially the same or more stringent protections afforded our European Union (“EU”) customers to all of our customers worldwide. If you are a EU resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us (privacy@rosenfeldmedia.com). When you opt in to provide your PI, you are providing us with your consent to use that information, as described above.

Additionally, if you are an EU resident, we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through our site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to the United States.
