These terms and conditions govern your participation in events organised by Nanak Naam, a UK-based charity ("the Organiser"). By registering or participating in any Nanak Naam charity event, you ("the Participant") agree to comply with these terms and conditions.

Event Registration and Participation 1.1 The Participant must be at least 18 years old at the time of registration unless otherwise specified for a specific event. 1.2 The Participant agrees to provide accurate and complete information during the registration process. 1.3 The Participant acknowledges that participation in certain events may involve physical exertion, and it is their responsibility to ensure that they are medically fit and able to participate in the chosen event. 1.4 The Participant must abide by the event rules, instructions, and guidelines provided by the Organiser or its representatives.

Fundraising 2.1 The Participant acknowledges that participation in Nanak Naam charity events may involve fundraising activities. 2.2 The Participant agrees to make best efforts to raise funds for the designated charitable cause associated with the event. 2.3 The Participant acknowledges that all funds raised will be collected and handled by Nanak Naam in accordance with its internal policies and procedures. 2.4 The Participant agrees to promptly transfer any funds raised to Nanak Naam, using the designated methods and platforms specified by the Organiser.

Health and Safety 3.1 The Participant understands and accepts that participation in certain events may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury or illness. 3.2 The Participant agrees to take full responsibility for their own health and safety during the event and to comply with any safety instructions or guidelines provided by the Organiser or its representatives. 3.3 The Participant acknowledges that they must have appropriate personal insurance coverage in place for the duration of the event, including but not limited to medical insurance.

Liability and Release 4.1 The Participant acknowledges that Nanak Naam and its representatives will take all reasonable measures to ensure the safety and well-being of participants during the event. 4.2 The Participant agrees that Nanak Naam, its trustees, employees, volunteers, sponsors, and partners shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, damage, or expense incurred during the event, unless arising from their proven negligence or wilful misconduct. 4.3 The Participant hereby releases and discharges Nanak Naam, its trustees, employees, volunteers, sponsors, and partners from any claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to their participation in the event.

Intellectual Property 5.1 The Participant acknowledges and agrees that all intellectual property rights, including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, and logos associated with Nanak Naam, are the sole property of the Organiser. 5.2 The Participant agrees not to use, reproduce, or distribute any Nanak Naam intellectual property without obtaining prior written consent from the Organiser.

Privacy and Data Protection 6.1 The Participant understands and agrees that personal information provided during the registration process may be collected, stored, and processed by Nanak Naam for event management purposes. 6.2 The Participant consents to the use of their personal information for communication, fundraising, and promotional activities related to Nanak Naam events, unless otherwise indicated in writing. 6.3 Nanak Naam will handle personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws and its Privacy Policy.

Amendments and Termination 7.1 The Organiser reserves the right to amend or modify these terms and conditions at any time. The Participant will be notified of any changes in writing or through the Nanak Naam website. 7.2 In the event of circumstances beyond the Organiser's control, including but not limited to force majeure events, the Organiser may cancel, postpone, or modify the event. In such cases, the Organiser shall not be held liable for any losses or expenses incurred by the Participant.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction 8.1 These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. 8.2 Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

By participating in a Nanak Naam charity event, the Participant confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
