Whilst at the event you will comply with any policies that the venue may have with respect to their services and resources.
Failure to comply with any of the above may result in your removal from the event at the discretion of the organisers.
Without your explicit consent, we will not use your data for any marketing purposes. We may contact you at any time about the event for non-marketing purposes. We will always ask you before sharing your data unless sharing your data with a specific party is key to the running of the event.
We may contact you at any time before or after the event about your attending the event. We will not contact you with marketing information unless you have opted into promotional and marketing communications.
We will always ask you before we share your data with a third party.
Some venues may require information about our attendees for security or safety reasons. In these instances, we share your data.
As we operate at the University of Nottingham and are a part of the University of Nottingham Students' Union, in some instances, your data may be shared with the University of Nottingham Students' Union, University of Nottingham should it be deemed necessary for the running of the event.
You can at any time ask that we delete the data we have about you by contacting gpdr@hacksoc.net. However, this may void your tickets and prevent you from attending any of our events.
Up to 1 year
We may retain your data for up to one year after the event. Typically, this is the case if you opted into marketing and promotional information. You can always ask us to delete your data sooner.
