The data that is collected will be used by the Organizer to plan and manage the event for which you registered, as well as email you relevant details about the event.
We're keeping the registration fees low, but no refunds will be paid to those who cancel their attendance. You can substitute a colleague for free. We may take photos or shoot video at the event – these could be used to promote future DVB events. We'll also add your email address to the mailing list we use to promote DVB World – it won't go on any other list and will NOT be shared with any other organization. You can unsubscribe at any time.
If you have registered and later find that you are unable to attend, we can substitute a colleague's name at no extra charge. No refunds will be made for cancelled registrations. In the event that the sanitary situation forces us to cancel the event, we will refund "Supporter" tickets, but not "Participant" tickets.
DVB World is an event where photography, video and audio recording may occur. By participating, you consent to photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their publication or reproduction to be used for news, promotional purposes, inclusion on websites, or for any other purpose(s) that the DVB Project and/or DVB Services Sàrl deems fit to use. You release the DVB Project and DVB Services Sàrl, its officers and employees, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitising, or publication of photographs, video and/or or sound recordings.
By entering the event premises, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any publication of these materials. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by the event organiser or the person or entity designated to do so by the organiser.
You have been fully informed of your consent, waiver of liability, and release before participating in DVB World.
Your email address will be added to the promotional mailing list for future editions of DVB World. You will be able to unsubscribe from that list at any time. Your email address will not be shared with any third parties without your explicit consent.
We will only use your data for purposes directly related to the DVB World conference. We won't share it or sell it to any other organizations without asking you beforehand.
Your Personal Data will be used exclusively and only to the extent necessary, to allow us to: on the basis of your specific consent to the related cookies, perform statistics on the use of the DVB websites; send you one or more of our newsletters or tailored communications, provided you have given us explicit prior consent to do so.
