Attendance is only possible with a valid ticket, which can be purchased online though Ti.to. Ticket transfer is only possible upon request but not guaranteed. Personal data of participants will be processed for conference purposes and may be used for audio/video recordings. The T&Cs also include information on complaints, cancellations and data protection.
1.1. These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter "Terms") are established in accordance with § 1751 (1) of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code (hereinafter "Civil Code") and govern the mutual rights and obligations arising from the contract (hereinafter "Contract") concluded between the non-profit organization GUG.cz, z.s., with its registered office at
Sokolská třída 1263/24, Moravská Ostrava, 702 00 Ostrava, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Ostrava, Section L, Insert 21679 (hereinafter "Organizer"), and the natural or legal person who ordered a Ticket by completing the registration form on the Registration Site (as defined below) (hereinafter "Participant").
2.1. The subject of the Contract is the provision of services by the Organizer to the Participant, consisting of the ability to attend the DevFest.cz 2025 conference, taking place on October 24th, 2025, under the conditions specified by the Terms and the Contract.
3.1. Participation in the Conference is only possible with a valid ticket purchased in accordance with these Terms (hereinafter "Ticket") and proof of identity. The Organizer has the right to verify these at any time during the Conference.
3.2. The Participant must carry the Ticket throughout the Conference and present it upon request by an authorized person, either in printed or electronic form.
3.3. The Ticket is non-transferable unless the Organizer approves a transfer upon request via devfest@gug.cz. In such cases, the original Ticket becomes invalid, and a new Ticket will be issued.
3.4. The sale of Tickets will commence on March 1, 2025, and will run until they are sold out.
3.5. A person unable to present a valid Ticket or meet its issuance conditions may be denied entry or removed from the Conference.
4.1. Tickets are listed on the Organizer’s website at https://devfest.cz and are sold via www.ti.to (hereinafter "Registration Site"). Ticket prices are final and inclusive of VAT.
4.2. By completing the order and consenting to the Terms on the Registration Site, the Participant proposes the creation of a Contract.
4.3. Payment for the Ticket must be completed within one hour via card online or transferred within seven days to the Organizer's account.
4.4. The Contract is concluded the moment the Ticket payment is made.
5.1. Upon payment receipt, the Organizer sends the Participant a confirmation of payment and the Ticket in electronic form to the Participant's provided email address.
6.1. The rights and obligations concerning defects are governed by the applicable statutory provisions.
6.2. Changes to the program or venue do not constitute defects in performance and may occur for reasons beyond the Organizer's control.
7.1. The Organizer may withdraw from the Contract if the event cannot be held for reasons beyond its control. In such cases, the full Ticket price will be refunded.
7.2. Withdrawal by the Participant is possible no later than 14 days after the payment has been processed via email, with a full refund of the Ticket price.
7.3. Late withdrawals are subject to a fee equal to 100% of the Ticket price.
7.4. Participant can request no later than 28 days before the event date to transfer their ticket to a different person via email.
8.1. The Organizer processes personal data in line with the GDPR for fulfilling the contractual relationship and may contact Participants with information related to the Conference.
8.2. Photographs and recordings capturing the event may be used for promotional purposes. The Organizer strives to respect Participants' privacy in such materials.
9.1. These Terms are an integral part of the Contract.
9.2. Legal relations arising from the Contract are governed by Czech law.
9.3. Any amendments to the Contract must be in written form with both parties' signatures.
9.4. These Terms come into effect on January 1, 2025.
The Privacy Policy outlines that GUG.cz, z.s., a non-profit organization, processes personal data with the consent of the individual for marketing purposes, including sending commercial communications. 1.3. The Controller has not appointed a Data Protection Officer.
2.1. The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is your consent given to the Controller under Article 6(1)(a) of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (General Data Protection Regulation) (hereinafter "GDPR").
3.1. The purpose of processing your personal data is to send commercial communications and conduct other marketing activities by the Controller towards you.
3.2. The Controller does not engage in automated individual decision-making per Article 22 of the GDPR.
4.1. Your personal data will be stored by the Controller for an indefinite period from the date of granting consent, but no longer than until your consent for data processing is withdrawn.
5.1. Additional recipients of your personal data will include entities providing marketing services for the Controller and:

6.1. Under the conditions stipulated in the GDPR, you have the right to request access to your personal data, correction, or deletion of your personal data, or restriction of processing. You also have the right to object to data processing and the right to data portability.
6.2. You have the right to withdraw your consent for data processing provided to the Controller at any time. This does not affect the legality of data processing prior to such withdrawal of consent. You may withdraw your consent as follows:
6.3. If you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR, you have the right, among others, to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
6.4. You are not obliged to provide personal data. The provision of your personal data is not a legal or contractual requirement, nor is it a requirement necessary to conclude a contract.
6.5. You have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes, including profiling related to direct marketing. If you object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing, your personal data will no longer be processed for these purposes.
Until 10 years after the event date
Data will be kept until 10 years after the event date then it will be anonymized. If you’d like your data removed sooner, please contact us.
