The data that is collected will be used by the Organisers of the the 6th All Island Children’s Palliative Care Conference to plan and manage the event for which you registered, as well as email you relevant details about the event and future All Island Children Palliative Care Conferences.Data Protection Policy:By registering for the conference you are giving your consent for members of the CPCC conference organising committee and Go West Conference & Event Management (our Professional Conference Organisers) to contact you about any aspect of the conference by e-mail or by telephone. You are also consenting to receive email marketing communications about the conference and post conference associated material.We ask for limited personal data in order to process your registration for the Children's Palliative Care Conference. We require personal information (name, email address) for communications and updates pre, during and post event.What we collect. We collect your name, email address, job title, organisation, country of origin and special requirements when you register to attend the conference or submit an abstract.What we do with the information we gatherWe require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:Internal record keeping including administration of CPD and processing registration fees using Tito software (https://ti.to). We may periodically send promotional emails about the conference and future Children's Palliative Care Conferences using marketing email platform Mailchimp (mailchimp.com)

Terms and Conditions

It is intended that the conference will be an in-person event, but this will be kept under review in light of public health guidance . The conference will be held in accordance with the applicable government public health guidelines on Covid-19.

Payment can only be accepted by Visa or Mastercard.

"All cancellations are subject to a €30 administrative fee If cancelled before 9th February 2024 – 100% of the registration fee is refundable less the administration fee.

No refunds are payable from 9th February 2024 onwards. Cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellations will not be accepted by telephone.

All applicable refunds will be made after the conference. Bank service charges and all administration fees will be deducted from all conference registration refunds.

In the unlikely case of cancellation of the event, the organisers shall not accept liability for any consequential loss and shall have no liability to reimburse any other costs that may have been incurred, including transport costs, accommodation etc. Delegates are encouraged to take out travel insurance when making travel and accommodation arrangements.

Photography, audio recording and video recording will be taking place at the conference. The release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction of this content will be used for news, webcasts, promotional purposes, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by the conference, its sponsors/exhibitors and its affiliates and representatives. Please notify us if you wish to be removed from any such materials in advance of the conference by emailing info@cpcc.ie

This Conference is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. We do not tolerate harassment of delegates in any form. Inappropriate language and imagery are not acceptable to be included in presentations, workshops, networking forums and other online media. Conference delegates violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organisers.

Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, technology choices, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.

Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.

If a participant engages in harassing behavior, the conference organisers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the conference with no refund.

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the conference staff immediately.

Conference staff will be happy to help participants contact hotel/venue security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the conference. We value your attendance.

We expect participants to follow these rules at conference and workshop venues and conference-related social events.
