Individual Attendee data collected by Dev Community Inc. on behalf of CodeNewbie Community is used to plan, manage, and execute the event for which the Attendee is registered, including emailing Attendees with event details.

Individual Attendee data collected by Dev Community Inc. on behalf of CodeNewbie Community is used to plan, manage, and execute the event for which the Attendee is registered, including emailing Attendees with event details. If Attendee chooses to opt in, we will also send email notifications regarding future conferences organized by Dev Community Inc.
Attendees may request to 1) view a copy of their own data, 2) correct their data, or 3) delete their data at any point. All requests must be made via email to privacy@dev.to and must originate from same email that is associated with their CodeNewbie Community account. Requests will be responded to within 30 days. When Dev Community Inc. on behalf of CodeNewbie Community provides copies of Attendee data, it will be in .csv format unless otherwise requested.
Attendee data is shared with third-party conference vendors only as necessary. Attendee data is also exposed to Dev Community Inc. staff and volunteers as needed to execute their official duties. For instance, we may need to share Attendee names and other information in order to assist with printing badges, organizing t-shirt distribution, etc.
Some aggregated Attendee data is shared with conference Sponsors, but Dev Community Inc. never shares individual Attendee data with Sponsors.
If any Attendee data kept by Dev Community Inc. is breached, good faith attempts will be made to notify affected Attendees within 72 hours.

Three years
If Attendees opt in to receive emails with details of future conferences organized by Dev Community Inc., we will keep their email addresses for this purpose for up to three years.
