The data that is collected will be used by the Department of Game Design to manage the event for which you registered, as well as to email you relevant details about the event, and to notify about future versions of the event. Photos and recordings by our event photographers will be shared online and occasionally used in our PR and communications.
The Department of Game Design at Uppsala University want, above all else, to work for an inclusive games industry and culture, where everyone can feel safe to participate. We do not tolerate harassment in any form - including online or through social media. Harassment include (but is not limited to) physical assault, verbal abuse, intimidation and unwelcome attention. If someone asks you to stop and leave them alone, you will stop and leave them alone. We reserve the right to expel any offender without a refund.

The above list is not exhaustive and GGC staff are the final arbiter of what else may constitute harassment for the purposes of this policy. If you deliberately ignore these guidelines, repeatedly disrupt the conference and other attendees, and/or no resolution can be met or agreed upon, you will be expelled from the conference without a refund.
If you have been harassed in any way or witness someone engaging in harassment, please notify one of our staff immediately. We’ll do our best to make sure the problem gets resolved and provide the targeted party with a safe space to chill. You may be asked to complete a report to document the incident. This is optional, but is very helpful in tracking patterns of behavior and ensuring the offender is dealt with appropriately. Any reports of harassment are kept confidential and the identity of the reporting party is never shared without their express consent.
We take your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information to administer your attendance and provide the conference that you've signed up for. We will never sell your personal information, nor share your contact information with 3rd parties. Photos and recordings by our event photographers will be shared online and occasionally used in our PR and communications.
The Department of Game Design at Uppsala University is a public education - we are not a commercial entity and we do not make profits. Therefore we will never sell your personal information, nor share your contact information with 3rd parties.

We keep you in our mailing list for 5 years, so we can notify you when each successive conference is planned (usually 1 email per year). You can unsubscribe at any point via a link in the email.
