If you have an issue with any BSides Belfast attendee/participant, or have any concerns whatsoever in relation to safety or inappropriate conduct, please immediately notify a BSides Belfast organiser (recognisable by their T-shirt). We will then determine appropriate next steps. If you have a concern prior to or after the event, please contact us via Twitter or email. Conference staff will be happy to help participants contact hotel/venue security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the conference. We value your attendance.
Any attendee found to have engaged in behaviour violating this code of conduct may have their ticket invalidated and be expelled from the event without a refund at the sole discretion of the BSides Belfast organisers.
Security BSides Belfast respects your privacy. The details you provide when registering for the event are not disclosed to any third-parties except insofar as is required in order for us to fulfil our contractual obligation to you, to host and deliver the BSides Belfast event. The personal details that you provide to Security BSides Belfast (which may include name and email) are only used to register you for the event, provide access to necessary platforms as required to deliver the event, and to keep you informed of the event logistics and announcements. Your personal details are stored on specific cloud-based platforms that enable Security BSides Belfast to communicate with you and to deliver the virtual conference event. Personal details are not disclosed for any other purpose unless required by law.
