By participating in Mozilla Builders Demo Day, you are agreeing to the Event Terms and Conditions. If you don't respect these guidelines you will be asked to leave the event. Mozilla may take photographs and/or create audio and/or video recording of presentations and other portions of the event. Event Registration and Tickets
These Event Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your registration and attendance of the Mozilla Builders Demo Day event on December 5th, 2024 at Convene, 100 Stockton St, San Francisco, CA 94108 (the “Event”) and hosted by Mozilla Corporation (“Mozilla”). By proceeding to register for the Event, you agree to these Terms with Mozilla.
After completing the registration process, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address you provided as part of the registration.
Attendee Privacy Policy
As part of Event registration, we and our service providers may collect certain information (including personal information from you), such as name and email address. Mozilla’s use of information that you provide or we collect from you will be handled in accordance with its privacy policy, which may be found at https://www.mozilla.org/privacy/. The handling of your data by our event management platform provider, Team Tito Limited, will be handled in line with the Tito Privacy Policy.
Event Terms
By attending the Event, you agree to the following Terms:
You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if older.
You agree to comply with the Mozilla Community Participation Guidelines which may be found at https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/about/governance/policies/participation/. If you do not respect these guidelines, Mozilla may take corrective action, including removing you from the Event and prohibiting you from attending this and/or any future Mozilla events.
By providing us your email at registration, you agree that we may reach out to you about other events within a two year period.
You may be photographed or recorded by Mozilla, and its representatives, parent, affiliates, agents, employees, and vendors (“Mozilla”) at the Event.
Mozilla, its representatives, parent, affiliates, agents, employees and vendors may take photographs and/or create audio and/or video recordings of you as part of the Event (the “Recordings”). You agree to grant (and you do hereby grant) to Mozilla and its parent and affiliates the irrevocable rights, without any payments to you, to publish, reproduce, modify, display, perform, and distribute the Recordings (including your likeness, name, voice and biographical information), in perpetuity and throughout the world, on any media (including print, websites, and social media) for promotional or other purposes in connection with Mozilla, including its mission, campaigns, and products.
You agree to irrevocably and unconditionally release Mozilla from all liability, if and to the extent allowed by applicable law, in connection with the Recordings (including from any publication or distribution of the Recordings).
IN NO EVENT SHALL MOZILLA’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE EVENT OR THESE TERMS BE IN EXCESS OF $100. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATIONS OF CERTAIN TYPES OF LIABILITY, SO THIS DISCLAIMER MAY NOT BE APPLICABLE TO YOU.
These Terms are governed by, and will be construed in accordance with, the laws of the state of California, and the forum and venue for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be in San Francisco, California.
By registering for this event, you agree that you are at least 18 years old, and will comply with our privacy policy. Under that policy, we and our service providers may collect certain information (including personal information from you), including name, email address, employer, and job title. We may also take video, photographic, or audio recordings of you at the event, which we will retain indefinitely unless you specifically contact us to request that the recordings be deleted. We may use those recordings in our marketing materials to promote Mozilla, including future events. Mozilla’s use of information that you provide or we collect from you will be handled in accordance with our privacy policy, which may be found at https://www.mozilla.org/privacy/.

No more than 2 years following your registration.
We will hold details relating to your registration for at most 2 years following your registration. We may also hold other information about you where required by law, such as for health and safety or accounting records. In these cases, we will hold information for as long as necessary for these purposes or as required by law, and will ensure your data is reviewed over time to ensure it is not held where no longer necessary. We may retain photographs, and audio or video recordings of the event indefinitely, and use them to promote future events. You may contact us to request deletion of any media that includes recognizable images of you.
